Pac Man Pumpkins

Pac Man & Ghost pumpkins under regular and black light

My Pac Man pumpkin project. These are carved from Sugar-pie pumpkins and mounted on black dowels on a black board. The "pellets" are small gourds turned on their sides. The cherries are crab-apples and I used some 18 guage wire for the cherry stem. The pumpkins were air-brushed with florescent paints to make them glow under black light and give that video game raster glow feel to the whole thing. The whole project took about 5 hours. I had to build an air-brush out of a can of Dust-off since I don't own a real one. I think it worked like a champ.
